Heat Treatment
In August 2023, AvCarb acquired a state-of-the-art heat treatment facility in Wadsworth, OH, enhancing our capacity to develop and manufacture engineered carbon components and graphitized products. The facility, now operational after eight months of integration, features 28 induction coil furnaces capable of reaching 3000° C and new carbonization capabilities. This strategic acquisition boosts our manufacturing assets, lab space, and energy efficiency, allowing us to produce the world's highest quality engineered carbons and graphitized products.
